Mentoring someone in life crisis builds bridges of understanding, life skills education, hope and empowerment between residents and the rest of the community.
Volunteers who choose to invest their time in this way are special people who understand that, one on one, we can each make a difference in the course of another person’s life. If you believe that actions speak louder than words, then discover how you can mentor with Home Suite Hope.
Mentors who work with our residents are asked to join us for a short orientation session designed to tell you more about Home Suite Hope, our code of ethics, and accountability. They receive training in listing skills, healthy boundaries, identifying mental illnesses and addictions, crisis management and common referrals.
Complete the volunteer application and make a difference with Home Suite Hope.
