Involving volunteers is a vital part of the HSH mandate as it builds bridges of understanding, education and empowerment between residents and the rest of the community.

Behind Home Suite Hope’s work are many caring and committed individuals and groups who donate their time to raise vital funds, help to renovate, work on upkeep of the home, and assist with our work. For a few hours a year or every week, your gift of time will help make a difference. If you believe that actions speak louder than words, then discover how you can volunteer with Home Suite Hope.

Volunteers who work with our residents are asked to join us for a short orientation session designed to tell you more about Home Suite Hope, our code of ethics, and accountability. They receive training in listing skills, healthy boundaries, identifying mental illnesses and addictions, crisis management and common referrals.
