Homeward Bound Halton (HBH) is an innovative program of wrap-around services to help single mothers and their children move from homelessness and poverty to successful careers and self-sufficiency. Homeward Bound Halton provides low-income single moms an opportunity to receive life skills, computer, and financial literacy education, and then attend college at a fully-accredited institution. When they finish school, Homeward Bound Halton helps connect women to full-time, living wage careers.

PROGRAM TYPE:
Residential women’s education and employment program

DURATION:

Up to four (4) years.

PROGRAM PARAMETERS:
Single mothers, living in poverty and experiencing or at risk of homelessness with children under age of 18 residing with mother

DESCRIPTION:
