Catherine Villasenor, RSW

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Sociology from Ryerson University (now known as Toronto Metropolitan University) and is a Registered Social Worker of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. With 8+ years of experience within the homelessness sector, she has always had a desire to be a part of long-lasting change in her community. Catherine joined Home Suite Hope in 2016 and has been involved with the growth of the organization ever since. Her previous roles as Program Coordinator and Program Manager have given her the unique insight to have a holistic understanding of daily operations and the needs of both the organization and participants.

As a mom of a son with a disability who requires additional supports provided by community programs, Catherine understands the value and importance of having accessible and effective programs for vulnerable populations. She has had the privilege of witnessing and experiencing the impact community programs can offer to families in need. She is thrilled to be able to be in a role that allows her to engage the community in changing the trajectories of generational poverty.
