Letter from a grad

Dear HSH,

Since I have moved on to aftercare, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincerest gratitude to you all.

Whether you were my caseworker, donor, volunteer, or anyone working behind the scenes, I truly can’t thank you enough.

When I came to HSH, I came with a fear of my future. But thanks to you guys and all of the wonderful work you do, after graduation I had a home whereas if it wasn’t for you, I would have been homeless with my daughter. That is something I will never truly be able to thank you enough for.

Throughout my time as HSH I have felt so privileged having you all rooting for me, my daughter, and our success.

Being in my situation wasn’t easy, but you guys lifted so much of the burden and stress. I know the days can be long and dealing with us can (sometimes, lol) be a pain, but know that you guys are making a huge difference, because you made a huge difference in my life.

Thank you for rooting for me, thank you for supporting me, thank you for everything!
