NAZEERA KHAN

Nazeera Khan is Vice President and Chief Audit Officer at a financial institution in Ontario.

She is an authentic and energetic leader with 18 years of global experience and qualification and a successful track record in her career. She is an excellent communicator and has a personal interest in continuous learning and development.

Nazeera is originally from South Africa and has visited approximately 20 countries, loves the outdoors, adventure and fitness and she has participated in hiking/climbing on Mt Kilimanjaro. She is fluent in five languages and is learning three others.

Nazeera has lived experiences where she has developed resilient characteristics and is passionate

about helping and making a difference in the lives of others. She has been a volunteer/mentor/

coach with HSH’s Industry Council and supports animal rescue and conservation efforts.

ROSE SHARIFI

Rose Sharifi is a lawyer dually licensed in Ontario, Canada and California, U.SA. She is an experienced lawyer with a demonstrated skill set in a variety of different practice areas. Rose is skilled in negotiation, legal writing, management, and leadership.

Rose completed her J.D. at the University of Ottawa and her undergraduate B.A. (Hons) in Political Science at McMaster University.

Rose is currently Associate General Counsel at Sheridan College.

JULIANNA VARPALOTAI-XAVIER

Julianna Varpalotai-Xavier has been in the investment management industry for over 25

years. She is a CPA, CA and has an MBA from the University of Cambridge. Over the course of her career, she has had extensive experience working with affluent families, institutional clients and advisors.

Julianna is currently Chief Operating Officer And Chief Compliance Officer at Bellweather

Investment Management. Prior to joining HSH as a Board Member, Julianna was on HSH’s Finance Committee.

Julianna and her family have resided in Oakville for more than 25 years. In her free

time, Julianna enjoys reading and skiing.
