As a volunteer secretary you are responsible for keeping records of volunteer meetings, including overseeing the taking of minutes and notes, sending out meeting announcements, distributing copies of minutes and the agenda to each volunteer committee member, maintaining a list of current volunteer committee members and assuring that corporate records are maintained.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Wants to make a difference.
  • Is well organized, competent with computer skills including online calendars, Google Docs and Microsoft Project.
  • Enjoys working with a diverse group of people.
  • Is self-motivated, empathetic, caring and has an affinity to support homelessness in the Halton region.
