The second annual Luxury Bingo in support of Home Suite Hope was held May 27 at Oakville’s Pump & Patio and was a resounding success.
Thanks to the incredible energy of our community, attendance was up 28% over last year’s inaugural event and there was a 52% increase in net proceeds: a total $4,859 was raised in support of Home Suite Hope programs.
These vital funds help single parents in Halton transition from crisis to stability through housing, education, and wraparound supports.
Guests enjoyed 10 rounds of high-stakes Bingo, light appetizers, a complementary drink, and the chance to win luxury prizes — from spa packages and designer handbags to Blue Jays club tickets and a luxury hotel stay in NYC or Miami!
The event would not have been possible without the generous support of sponsors, who donated incredible prizes and made the evening truly special: Bradford Portraits, Bailey Nelson Lakeshore, Skinfidelity, Allegra Spa, TJX Canada, SPINCO Oakville, Joyce Caldwell and Home Depot (99 Cross Avenue Oakville).
HSH Executive Director Sara Cumming, Director of Operations Catherine Villasenor, Marketing &
Events Coordinator Katelyn Zaoral, Caseworker Haley Weber and Bookkeeper Izabel Rader were on-hand as a lineup of luxury prizes were won by the lucky players dabbing their Bingo cards with hopes of winning.
The successful fundraiser was definitely a win for the single parents served by HSH as all funds raised support participant programming. Thanks to the venue, sponsors, donors and attendees - a team effort to support single parents on their journey from poverty to stability.
A heartfelt thank you to the venue and all who attended, supported, or donated. You’ve made a direct impact on families working hard to build a brighter future.
We’re already looking forward to next year!
