Thank you for helping Home Suite Hope give Hope 4 Holidays again this season!
Our annual Hope 4 Holidays campaign connects HSH’s single parents and their children with the community through the spirit of giving. There are several ways our community of supporters get involved.
Some sponsor a family stepping up to purchase and donate items to fulfill a family’s wish list.
HSH sends its thanks to this year’s family sponsors, including: Lisa Tracey; Ray & Karen Spence; Rebecca Pointon & Family; SPIN/CO Oakville; Michelle Keast; Stacey Bean & Family; Julianna Varpalotai-Xavier & Family; Clarity Recruitment; Sarah McAlpine; United Way Halton & Hamilton; Traci Howard; Jennifer Hutchinson; Cheryl Pitt; First Bronte Scouts and Taylor Lepage; Jodi Ball & Family; Smita Mishra; Katie Handley; Matt & Tracy Holmwood; Erica Kurnell; Dan Cooper Group; Jennifer Chambers; Hannah Dupuis; Laurie Forsyth; Caitlin Fraser; Kate Fudge & Family; Debbie McPherson; Maddie Picton; Sydney Weston and Tari Weir.
The Halton Shoebox Project also provided a wrapped shoebox filled with treats for each of our
single parents. Christ Embassy Church made donations to our campaign as did Aviva and Kits for a Cause.
Thanks also to Peter Kolisnyk and Engel & Völkers Oakville’s annual holiday gift card drive.
We couldn’t have done it without the gift wrapping efforts of the RAISE Foundation led by
Sydney Weston, Gavan, Ajifa and Inara from the United Way Halton & Hamilton (UWHH) the RBC Halton South team of Mortgage Specialists led by Shelly Braun and members of
the congregation at North York’s Spring Garden Church.
Our annual Holiday Dinner for all our single parent participants and their children was hosted at Mo’s Family Restaurant.

Santa visited the celebration after the dinner, delivering a toy to each child - thanks to the Oakville
Professional Firefighters’ Annual Toy Drive.
Some dropped off general gifts and toys to help us fill the gaps. Thank you, Rebecca Pointon and SPINCO Oakville; Marlene Holmwood, Jill Johnson, TJX... and many others.
Still others - including many of the gift wrapping groups - dropped off donations of urgently-needed
household and cleaning products and/or personal hygiene items. These items were popped into a Santa Sack and delivered to our participant families as an add-on to their holiday package of gifts. Each family also received gift cards.
And now that the holiday effort is a wrap, we ask that you please consider donating gift cards as we move into a new year.
HSH provides gift cards for groceries and transportation as wrap-around support for our families year-round. Metro, Esso and Walmart cards are all most welcome by our participants all year. So are donations of household and hygiene products, which are among the most expensive items on a family's recurring grocery bill.
Gift cards can be dropped off at our office at 484 Kerr Street, Oakville or donated through HomeSuiteHope.org.
With hearts full of gratitude for helping deliver Hope 4 Holidays, Home Suite Hope wishes everyone a very happy holiday season!
