Sharing a Meal
Home Suite Hope (HSH) program participants recently came together for our Extreme Cooking Social.
Participants were divided into two teams and each then made a delicious pasta of choice. HSH judges - Caseworkers Temisha Jacques, Haley Weber and Jovelle Reid - evaluated the dishes based on taste, presentation, creativity and dish name.
It was a day of friendly competition, good vibes and this social gave participants the opportunity to enjoy a fun day of cooking, eating and bonding!
Socials are a great way for participants to connect, share, improve their mental health and
well-being, practice self-care and have fun all at the same time.
Each social has a theme and HSH provides the materials needed.
Participant Socials are open to all participants in HSH programming. All Stabilizing First Halton
participants are required to attend every social event.
